It was probably overdue for the “blog house” scene to have its own radio station, and here it is! The Hype.fm is a completely legit (as in royalty-paying) web radio station featuring DJs from such well-respected blogs as Discodust and Big Stereo, and artists like Daft Punk, Van She and Minitel Rose. Definitely worth a listen.

Glasgow’s Rustie continues to impress with his groundbreaking fusion of low slung beats and futuristic textures. It’s a sound equally informed by dubstep, crunk hip hop, detroit techno, and the old-school IDM of artists like Autechre and Funkstorung. To get a glimpse of this guy’s talent, just check out this track, “Bad Science,” it’s currently unreleased, but completely amazing:
